Fliers
One of my most effective grassroots marketing strategies was leveraging eye-catching flyers and branded stickers placed throughout our service areas. I designed each flyer with a clear focus on client needs; highlighting the benefits of our services in a way that directly spoke to common pain points, such as busy schedules or lack of availability of current dog walker.
Instead of using fear-based or negative messaging, I focused on positive outcomes; what clients gain by choosing Furmaids.

Flyer distribution became a flexible, win-win task for my team: Furmaids staff were encouraged to post flyers during downtime, like after cancellations or when requesting extra hours keeping engagement high and expanding our reach.
This approach not only built brand awareness locally but consistently brought in high-quality leads.

Objective: This is the final visual version of the Furmaids flyer. While the design remained consistent, we regularly updated the messaging in the blue blurb to address different client pain points. It was designed to capture attention, build trust, and drive action. The flyer blends strong visual storytelling with clear, concise information about our services. Featuring warm, personal imagery and a prominent QR code and website link, it makes it easy for potential clients to learn more or book a service on the spot. Most importantly, the messaging spotlights our core brand message: “Feel like the best pet parent in the world.” This message was central to our marketing, positioning Furmaids not just as a service provider, but as a partner in helping clients feel confident, connected, and proud of how they care for their pets.

Objective: This is the final visual version of the Furmaids flyer. While the design remained consistent, we would regularly update the messaging in the blue blurb to speak to different client pain points. The design blends strong visual storytelling with clear, accessible service information. Warm, relatable imagery builds trust, while a prominent QR code and website link encourage immediate action—making it simple for potential clients to learn more or book a visit. In this version, the messaging specifically targets busy pet parents who were regularly rushing home during their lunch break to walk their dog. We reframed this challenge by focusing on what they could gain with Furmaids: their lunch hour back. Staying true to our brand voice, we always emphasized the positive outcomes of working with us—never the stress or guilt of their current situation.

Objective: This was the original version of the Furmaids flyer before implementing later design and layout refinements. It was created to speak directly to our work-from-home audience—specifically pet parents struggling to manage energetic, barking dogs during virtual meetings. In this version, the messaging “Achieve Zoom call perfection” was designed to be highly relatable and to tap into a core client desire: focus and professionalism while working from home. By highlighting what they would gain, quiet, productive calls and a calmer dog, we stayed true to our brand voice of using empowering, positive messaging. Rather than emphasizing the frustration or stress of their current situation, this flyer focused on what the client could gain with our services. The design combines storytelling and clear service info. Warm imagery builds trust, while a bold QR code and link make it easy to learn more or book.

Objective: This was the original version of the Furmaids flyer before implementing later design and layout refinements. The messaging of this flyer was crafted to speak to pet parents who want to ensure their dog feels happy and loved, even when they’re not home. In this version, the featured message “The best hour of your dog’s day. They’ll never know you paid for it.” highlights the joy and fulfillment dogs experience during their time with us while also keeping the client as the hero. It focuses on what the dog gains; fun, companionship, and exercise, while offering reassurance to the client that their pup is content and cared for in their absence. The tone remains positive and emotionally resonant. The design combines storytelling and clear service info. Warm imagery builds trust, while a bold QR code and link make it easy to learn more or book.
