AMC Western MA 20s & 30s is a community group that connects young adults through outdoor adventures and social experiences across Western Massachusetts. The group creates opportunities for members to build community while exploring the outdoors. The group is designed to be welcoming to all experience levels and encourage meaningful connection.

How did we celebrate? The best way we know how! 🙃 Hiking, paddling, cycling, and cleaning up trails.
Caption: Looking to try something new? Raft down the Deerfield River with Western Mass. friends in their 20s and 30s through the AMC and @zoaroutdoor!
This activity is for just about everyone! @zoaroutdoor will lead the trip and do the primary paddling (front and back), while we’ll be along for the ride and some light paddling. The route features Class 2 rapids (out of Class 5) with one Class 3 rapid and will be about 5 miles long.
Whether it’s your first time rafting or you’ve done it before, this is a great trip to get out on the water and meet new people.

Reflecting on our Intro to Backpacking Workshop at Noble View last weekend is making us feel a little extra grateful for this community.
We realize that some people would never try backpacking, even though they’ve always wanted to. We’re grateful to those who stepped outside their comfort zone and showed up! We’re also grateful for the leaders who put so much time and effort into making sure everyone is safe, has a good time, and feels welcome.
We can’t imagine a world without the AMC community!
